Writing Tip #6: Writing Story Setting Using Specific Details

The setting is an integral part of any story because every story has to happen SOMEWHERE. But an effective setting is more than just a place for a story to happen. An effective setting draws the reader in and makes the story more believable.

In my new 3-Minute Writing Teacher video, I share a simple yet powerful writing tip for creating a strong story setting. In only 3 minutes, you’ll be able to see how the use of specific details can help a setting come alive. I even get a little help from J. K. Rowling!
